Over the last 60 years, US-based DYNEX Technologies Inc. has been a leading force with in-vitro diagnostics automation. Designing and manufacturing fullyautomated open ELISA microplate workstations, laboratory instruments, and associated consumables and accessories, DYNEX simplifies advanced detection through fullyautomated sample handling.
The company, with its pioneering automated microplate technology, helps global clinical labs with the flexibility to automate assays of their choice across many disease states in a compliant manner. Such capabilities have enabled DYNEX’s clients to increase their lab productivity while reducing the spend on time and resources. DYNEX has developed a rich portfolio of fully automated ELISA systems, such as DS2®, DSX®, and AGILITY®, that allow clients to stay ahead of the evolving operational challenges.
DS2® is designed for rigorous and repeatable analyses required in critical applications, including immunology, food safety, forensics, and environmental testing, among others. It occupies less than 4 square feet of linear counter space to process up to two 96-well microplates and 100 specimens.
DSX® is a proven, fully automated open system with unique dispense synchronization that helps eliminate plate drift for consistent reliable results across four independent plate incubators, which help manage testing workload with reduced labor and walk-away capability to maximize lab personnel efficiency.
AGILITY® is renowned for its flexible throughput as it allows up to 12 plates on-board at once and up to 16 SmartKit® carriers stored on-board for simultaneous runs. AGILITY® is redefining ELISA with an ingenious design, complete automation, and a revolutionary approach to reagent loading that boosts productivity and minimizes hands-on time like never before. For true walk-away freedom, nothing beats AGILITY®
“Our solutions are offered through a global network of distributors to meet the rigorous demands of challenging applications while improving laboratory efficiency and health outcomes,” says Rami Jalal El-Qaisi, Business Development Manager at DYNEX.

To enhance the user experience and results, team DYNEX regularly visits its partner locations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to ensure their lab technicians and engineers are trained on the maximum usability of its solutions.
As the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the globe, the service-centric company DYNEX stepped up to the occasion, partnering with major ELISA test kit manufacturers and distributor partners across the globe, including the Middle East, to implement and automate novel COVID-19 ELISA tests. As global clinical labs are witnessing unreal pressure to expedite COVID-19 testing, DYNEX is exploring its supply chain network to deliver its solutions on time for testing. DYNEX is uniquely positioned to support the development, validation, and implementation of COVID-19 testing. Designed with the automated laboratory in mind, the company’s flexible software programming capability and quick integration of test files into its solutions enable labs to quickly begin validation and testing of the latest COVID-19 ELISA assays. “We remain committed to perpetual innovation in product design and new applications frontiers to deliver cuttingedge microplate processing systems that meet the challenging market requirements,” says Jalal El-Qaisi. Backed by a talented, multidisciplinary staff, DYNEX stays ahead of its peers through its focus on quality diagnostics products, value-driven services, and continued support.
The latest achievement of DYNEX is Multiplier® with SmartPLEX® Technology. This fully automated multiplex solution can perform multiple assays from a single sample. “With our new Multiplier® system, we will soon manufacturer the reagents as well, starting with MMRV Assay and more panels such as ENA, Celiac, and ToRCH (Toxo, Rubella, CMV HSV I & II),” concludes Jalal El-Qaisi. “According to our five-year plan, we expect these new products will drive our growth as a systems provider.”
The company has approximately 150 employees worldwide, including design and service engineers, applications scientists, marketing specialists, and precision manufacturing experts who are self-motivated to solve the most complex problems faced by their clients with fresh ideas. As part of its strategy, DYNEX is always looking for talented and driven individuals who share its commitment to perpetual innovation.
